Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026

The Wood Consulting ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through thewoodconsulting.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, organization, the topic you select, and anything you write in the message box. We do not ask for, and you should not send, payment details or other sensitive information through the form.

Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the time of your visit. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and talk with you about working together.
  • To keep a record of our conversation so we can follow up.
  • To operate, maintain, and protect the website.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. We will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Where it is stored

The website and its contact form are hosted by Wix.com Ltd. Form submissions are stored in our Wix account and forwarded to our business email. Wix processes this data on our behalf under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we are in contact with you, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors come from. It sets analytics cookies (for example _ga) that identify your browser but not you personally, and the data is processed by Google under its privacy policy. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. We do not set marketing or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies needed to serve the site securely, and the contact form stores a short-lived, anonymous token in your browser so that it can send your message; it contains no personal information.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. To do so, or to ask anything about this policy, email finance@thewoodconsulting.com.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
